Inoreader: News & RSS reader users say on Google Play
It has everything I'm looking for in an RSS reader without all the bloat that normally comes with them. I almost gave 4 stars because I think the pro pricing is a bit steep. I don't need most of the features but I like supporting app development. I'd prefer a small monthly subscription, or some other way to support development.
Great free version! I'd be tempted to buy pro because I like it so much, but I can't figure out why it has to be a subscription, and at 10 bucks a month, holy smokes.
Works mostly as expected, even if it keeps showing old content as new and has various other bugs and limitations one can live with. The real issue is that the model is becoming predatory with price increases on subscriptions and the plan to impose limitations on feeds and projected extra costs to expand the feed cap also on Pro subscriptions. Pure predation to me. I am in it only due to lack of options so far. Not worth the cost anymore for the rest.
I hope that notifications for news articles will soon be included in the free plan because, at the moment, the app functions primarily as a news aggregator without any particularly useful features. Additionally, you cannot select multiple sources to place in a folder; each one has to be moved individually, which is quite frustrating.
Got spammed to buy pro version multiple times a day.
