Reuters - Breaking World News users say on Google Play
Reuters does really well providing aerospace, geopolitics and defense news. The subscription is affordable. The app works great.
little hard to curate exactly what you want but it's ok. The article refresh issue seems hone, but I have turned off all notifications in both the app, and in android settings for the app, but some are still coming through. I don't need them, it's overload!
The news articles themselves are great but the app needs some work. 1 - it should be possible to block individual news categories. I get a lot of things I have zero interest in showing up in my feed because it's tagged in another category that I follow which is very annoying when a flurry of these happen. 2 - the My News screen resets to the top each time I hit the bottom which is such a weird bug. This needs to be fixed. I'd happily give 5* if these were addressed
News section is fine. The new stock charts section is not. While things can be customized, it is hard to see how initially, and I cannot save my preferred settings - the default settings do not appeal. I wish to look at the S&P 500 over the past 1 and 3 months, either as a line or as OHLC. Changing the chart timeframe often results in no days being visible, and the horizontal axis labeling often seems off. I subscribed because of the old charts - the new ones may lead me to end the subscription
So all of a sudden I must pay to read articles that were previously free. Well Reuters I am not buying and like so many pblications recently I will continue to look at the headlines and ignore the body copy. Your hold on my attention is not unlimited. And as for the response telling me that the subscription price pays for all the award winning journalism, I am not a dumbass and your auto-generated response is insulting. Bye
