MBTA Go — Official users say on Google Play
It works, but it should be integrated into the Mticket app tab instead of a standalone app if that's possible.
It's pretty good for early development. pros: • accurate arival times and location • shows all arrival data available (sometimes over an hour ahead on the red line) • easy to use • shows detours and shutdowns cons: • no trip planner yet • doesn't show time since vehicle last reported location (this is useful to tell if there's a delay) • no widgets or ability to make shortcuts to stops/routes • can't favorite stops (only routes) The T should look at features from Andrzej Nosek's MBTA Tracker
seems redundant to NOT have the trip planner in the app. makes more sense to just go online, since thats where you're redirected anyways. Just my opinion
The app dumps you to your web browser for trip planning. I may be wrong, but shouldn't trip planning be a primary feature of a transit agency's official app?
