I mostly liked the app, and have recently discontinued my subscription. I found it terribly irritating that many words I would search for were not found within the app, but a simple Google search gave me the definition with no problem. The words were unusual, but not slang, and it really made me wonder what I was paying for in the app

When I press the speaker icon to hear the word being pronounced nothing happens. I have to tap it several times before it eventually works. Maybe it needs time to "warm up" 05/08/22 Now when I press the button to hear the spoken word I get the last part of the word. The first syllable is not heard. I have to hit it 3-4 times before I hear the full word. Sent an email. Let's see if I hear back. Otherwise, I'll just uninstall and find another dictionary. EDIT: SPEAKER BEGAN WORKING temporarily

There are many, many words that are not found in the app that you can find in the online dictionary. So when I need to look up an unusual word I need to double-check its existence. Maybe at least list the word and have its definition unavailable while offline if size is your concern, but a dictionary with missing words is a failure.
