mappls mapmyindia has improved, it now supports pip,the major 2 glitches I face is that while navigation some times the path which mappls shows is under maintenance and if we change the lane it doesn't recognise it and searching for new places is still painful it takes a long time and doesn't show icons for many places making transition from gmaps disappointing but what is still good are other features such as speed breaker lane assist and other alerts, but not a deal breaker gmaps is still conv

When multiple routes (2–3 options) are shown from the current location to the destination, selecting a specific route is very difficult, especially while driving. Route selection should be simpler and more driver-friendly. While driving, the blue navigation guideline automatically moves ahead and does not always stay aligned with the actual current moving location, which creates confusion during navigation. In the fuel section, there is no option to add or adjust decimal points after the mileage

I want to like the app. I've cut 3 stars for these 3 reasons. (Will change the rating if updated) 1) Crashed often on Android Auto, makes it near impossible to use in busy city traffic, let alone on Highway. 2) No feature to make trip calcs based on car. Mine's EV, but app gives petrol costs, no way to specifically search and add charging stations. 3) Half the drawer is covered by ads for Mappls Pray, explainer, all non navigation stuff. Why?! Old MMI App had a great HUD mode. This doesn't.
