After 5 years of use, this app still gets five stars. Grant it, this app is sluggish on launching, and sometimes stalls. Closing the app, and relaunching usually resolves the problem. This matter aside, the dependability and reliability of this app cannot be overstated. Moreover, it's flexibility, ease of use, and remote accessibility, are really quite profound.

Just had my ESP-ME3 installed. Trying to learn how to use the app. Plenty of instructions on the controller but can't find any instructions on how to use cell phone app. Although my wifi signal is kind of weak, I am still able to use the cell phone app.

After some research, I was considering replacing my glitchy 30 yr old timer with the RB 8 Digital Wi-Fi Timer. After reading reviews here, I will keep looking. What's concerning is that, based on comments, the app was working, and then updates broke it. We take longer trips now and need reliable remote connectivity. RB should let existing and prospective customers know what happened and how they will prevent it going forward. 3 Stars due to my uncertainty.

Slow to load and communicate with the controller. Currently, selecting the water drop to perform a manual operation to a station will not function as that request takes a long time to communicate to controller then, it will not turn on the station. Accessing the water drop by first selecting the controller then it works but SLOW IT IS. Update: Oct 8, 2025 Discovered if you open the app & allow the screen to time out blank/off, it will affect this app. Closing the app isn't enough, clear history

Rainbird!!! please fix this app It used to work great, now I can't get the controller to connect. it gets stuck loading. Not to mention this is not a manual adjustment user friendly controller so controlling it with the app is really the only choice. if be put in my garage got 3 days trying to manually set it all. I have done a few updates, it worked for a while and now won't connect again. ends in communication failure everytime I try to connect.
