Official transport application of Prague integrated transport system (PID)

The new PID Lítačka mobile application completely replaces the PID Info transport application. The PID Lítačka mobile application searches for the cheapest fare and allows you to buy single tickets valid for 30 minutes or up to as much as 3 days directly from your mobile telephone using a bank card.

You can also buy tickets without registering

The application displays information about current closures and offers the user a list of P+R car parks with information about their current capacity. It also allows you to purchase several single tickets in one go which the passenger then activates as and when required. The user can also forward the purchased ticket to another user who has the application installed on their device. Tickets purchased via the PID Lítačka application are valid in all of the Prague Integrated Transport zones, i.e. also in the integrated parts of the Central Bohemian Region, including trains operated by České dráhy.

Really liked the app but a few months ago the path finding started to work extremely slow. I often search a route between two bus stations, separated by 5 stops and connected by just one single bus line. Now it takes nearly several minutes to find route between those. Stops are Lihovar and Nove Podoli in Prague, if developers would like to try. Edited: the issue was fixed. Thank you for your work.

worked well, bought a 72 hour pass and had no problems. however some functions needed a bit of hunting to drill down and find the stops between destinations. see if you can play with the app before you need it. Could use some help explaining you need to buy a suitcase ticket but not if you have a day or more pass. Maybe a wizard if you are not using Czech? if start or destination is airport? I take a lot of public transit and it was a surprise to me when I saw this in a YouTube video.

this app should be usable even when not installed through google play. why should I have to agree to a thirdparty TOS to use a public transport app. The app refuses to sell tickets when not installed from an official source
