Look. I'm going to tell you that I had multiple really terrible things happen to me. I had more than one therapist tell me that they found my story "very upsetting". I had my been dealing with PTSD for years, but it was bad enough that my wife was asking me to move out. Couples therapist said it was the PTSD causing most of the problems. Using this app, I've really made some measurable improvements I didn't think were possible. Please try it out with a therapist who has knowledge of it. Please.
This incredible app is a valuable tool for social workers, patients, counselors, and more. It aids in the healing process for various issues and has been instrumental in helping me navigate my PTSD with my counselor. Packed with abundant resources, it offers up-to-date information from the DSM-5 and a vast library of worksheets for bipolar, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. It eliminates the need for paper and works seamlessly even on slower phones. This comprehensive tool supports your healing.
I am a therapist who works with trauma survivors and was interested in this app. I tried it out for a few days. I don't like this app for the following reasons: There is no or little built in positive reinforcement. Repeated prompts to take PCL-5 and PHQ-9 without explanation and with out passage of time is not necessary. I was prompted to take both each time I loged on- so every day. The interaction feels cold and concret. Lacks empathy.
!! Low rating for developer attention. Overall I think this is a 5-star app. I'm a MH clinician who uses this app with clients often. The number one biggest problem clients have is inability to save an incomplete worksheet. Especially for the CBW, it takes a good chunk of time to complete these. It would help immensely to be able to work on one, save progress, and come back to finish it later. Other feedback: when adding items to stuck point log, don't prompt for CBW until after CBW is intro'd.
