This app benefits individuals with ADHD the most, offering a unique approach to productivity that sets it apart from more traditional productivity tools. Compared to alternatives in the Productivity category, neurolist stands out with its focus on neurodivergent needs, but may fall short in terms of features for users without such requirements. With its high user rating and moderate download numbers, it has established a strong presence in its niche.

Pros

  • The app's high user rating of 4.6/5 indicates a strong level of satisfaction among its users, suggesting that it effectively meets the needs of its target audience.
  • With over 100,000 downloads, the app has achieved a moderate level of social proof, indicating that a sizable number of users find it useful for managing their tasks and productivity.

  • The app's accessibility features and overall design make it an excellent choice for users who struggle with traditional productivity tools due to their neurodivergent conditions.

Cons

  • One concern is the app's monetization model, which includes in-app purchases ranging from $3.99 to $69.99 per item, potentially making it less accessible to users who cannot afford these additional costs.
  • Despite the app's strong focus on user needs, the lack of a developer website may raise concerns about transparency and support for users who encounter issues or have suggestions for improvement.
  • The app's requirement for Android 8.0 or higher may limit its compatibility with older devices, potentially excluding some users who could benefit from its features but do not have the means to upgrade their hardware.

Best for: The ideal user for the neurolist: AI Planner for ADHD app is an individual with ADHD or other neurodivergent conditions, likely within the age range of 15 to 45, who is seeking a tailored and accessible task management tool that can accommodate their unique cognitive needs and preferences, and has a basic to intermediate level of technical skill to navigate the app's features and settings.

This app is great! It really helps when I am feeling overwhelmed by something and need to break it up into subtasks. My wife also appreciates that she can tell me "clean the kitchen" or "clean the bathroom" and I can get a checklist without her having to tell me step by step. I've also shown the app to my psychiatrist and my therapist and they have both been impressed with it and have been able to use it to help others.

helpful, but not fully finished yet. it's great for task paralysis and does a good job of breaking down big tasks into smaller ones. but it's missing the biggest feature I need - scheduling hard deadlines - to fight time blindness. breaking laundry down into 6 easy tasks isn't useful if I forget to leave the house at 1:35 to make it to an appointment on time. it should interrupt tasks to prioritize time-sensitive ones. otherwise, it's a great UI, works well, doesn't hallucinate, and looks cool.

This app's user interface is really nice. Very clean, professional and sleek! My only issue is usability for free users is non-existent. I am only able to create one task... ONE?! That is simply ridiculous. I understand fully that they give you a free trial that lasts a week (ONLY on the yearly plan mind you). As a user I would rather try a product SEE HOW IT FITS TO MY ROUTINE, then decide if I want to buy it.

only two stars because you have to pay a subscription for every device you want to use the app on. Moreover, there is no syncing between devices. I just paid a subscription but will have to change my 5-year old phone in a few months, which means I'll have to pay a second subscription for this year! So don't subscribe if you're planning to replace your phone shortly. You'll also have to recreate all tasks manually, because it doesn't save your account. That is really a huge disappointment

Super disappointed. The app WAS good, but its full of bugs and I can't get mine fixed. I paid 40 dollars for Pro and all of a sudden I was no longer able to add tasks due to the app malfunctioning. I restarted the app ONCE and now my purchase is not recognized and the app starts from the initial prompt every single time I use it, assigning me a random new user ID every time. I emailed support several days ago and it's still not fixed. I'll change my review if it does get fixed.
