FBReader Bookshelf in material design style

FBReader plugin, replaces default library view. This plugin only works with FBReader 3.0 and below. FBReader 3.1 includes new library view by default.

Browse and manage your book collection in a convenient thumbnail view. Adds some additional features: custom shelves, recently added books list, editing of recent list, etc.

The Bookshelf is customisable: you can select colour scheme, book cards type (wide, small or tiny), etc.

What's New

If I adjust(specifically increase) the number of columns in portrait mode in the shelf, the cover of the book will be cut and compromised. I hope you can fix it in a way that each will automatically adjust proportionally and fit the whole book cover on the space.

Had to update my review as there have been some huge improvements. This app will now show all books on my sd card, working much like a file manager, plus it will display book covers. Still has some issues. Huge minus is that the search function only works for the folder you are in and does not search subfolders, but I have to admit that all too many file managers have the same flaw. A small niggle is it does not display all my book covers at once, but rather only shows the books in the current folder (as it is working more like a file manager now). Since all my books are organized in separate subfolders from a to z, and then in further subfolders by author (or by subject for nf), this means I only see covers for the books in the folder I am currently in. Since I have a HUGE number of ebooks (as in over a thousand), I need to keep them organized, though I would love an app that would keep them organized for me, hint, hint. Still, this version of FBReader Bookshelf is a huge improvement and brings this app much closer to being a true book manager.

Thanks for fixing the app scanning inside apk files to look for books. This bookshelf doesn't support showing books in shelves! It shows books as tiles, cards or rows! Pls allow putting books in a folder and you can manually arrange their order inside folder. When viewing books by Author, pls arrange order of books by date. July 3 - In book's "..." menu, does Delete mean removal from Shelf or the file itself is deleted? There should be option not to add files from paths not scanned by FBreader to Shelf. For example, opening a PDF or epub from a path that isn't included in the list of paths FBreader is set to scan.

The app is getting laggy. Opening the menu, page turning, etc. Everything is laggy.

The latest update is SLOW. Rescan of my 2000+ books takes 5-10+++ minutes. Startup takes a while and everything is sluggggggish while the plugin does whatever it needs to do during startup. CPU usage warnings abundant in status bar. This plugin never was fast for me, but it was at least fairly usable before this latest update.
