I've tried several FODMAP apps (including the paid Monash one, which is worth paying for as a sort of donation to their testing research) and this is by far my favorite. It's very simple, which makes lookups fast, and the ability to filter your results according to which categories of FODMAP you are sensitive to is hugely valuable.
It's a very helpful app. When you need a quick check on some foods. It is a little misleading at times. e.g sweet potato is fine except for 1 element so it's in the moderate group. But when you check it on the " actual" low fodmap it's fine. Also as others have said it's quite US based so some foods aren't covered. But in general very helpful
updated review 2025: I know that it's difficult to provide all for everyone. some of the added foods are processed, have multiple ingredients, or aren't even regularly available in the USA. I come from I'd rather have to look up individual ingredients, than to have to wade through pages full of foods I've never heard of or can't get. 2023 reveiw: This app is amazing! It has put the information I need at my fingertips so I can eat properly for my gut health. And it's free!! Thank you so much!
