Vision QR Scanner - Your Trusted QR and Barcode Scanner

★ Vision QR and Barcode Scanner is a simple and easy to use application for decoding QR and Barcodes. ★

• Vision Code Scanner does not have access to the internet. The app has no ads, no tracking , or any funny business.

• As soon as a code is recognized, the device will display the results to you!

• Your result will be displayed to you with the information is hiding within the QR Code or Barcode. It is usually text or numbers. After, you can share the content and copy it to your clipboard for later use.

• If your result happens to be a URL or a website of any type, the app will show you the contents of the URL and offer to open the link for you in your default browser. This is great from a security standpoint as you should always check and verify websites are legitimate before opening them.

• Vision Code Scanner uses the minimum amount of permissions possible for the app to work. We just need access to the camera to scan your codes efficiently.

• Auto-Detect is enabled by default and opens the first code the app finds. If you uncheck Auto-Detect, you can scan multiple codes at the same time and then click on the one which you want with a colored box surrounding it).

• Flash is not enabled by default but it great for low-light or night scanning, it can be enabled very easily by checking the "Use Flash" box.

• The app works in both portrait and landscape modes.

• You can now also Generate QR Codes for Text, Wi-Fi Network, Email, URL, and more (Via the menu - 3 dots on top right corner of your screen)

• The Scanner universally supports 13 different Barcodes/QR Code variants. Here is the full list:
1D Barcodes: EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code-39, Code-93, Code-128, ITF, Codabar
2D Barcodes: QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF-417, AZTEC

Excellent app. I've installed and researched 20 of free, no-ad apps available on store. I can tell this one is the best. Can preview multiple QRs and barcodes simultaneously while scanning. Can recognize QR up to version 40, which is maximum, faster than any other apps, thanks to google mobile vision API. Most of all, it is very app for people who care about privacy. Requires camera permission only. The developper uses 'share' method to save generated QR without SD write permission. He's genius!

The developer of this app has awesomely created a small, no ads, just does what it needs to app, and I'm glad to have it. Unfortunately, it seems to no longer be usable for me as something seems to have changed with subsequent updates, and the app layout is no longer correct on screen - the wide purple title/heading bar now displays over the top of the rest of the content, hiding the scanned QR data! Tested on Pixel 6 and Pixel Fold.
