The campaign is surprisingly challenging. The AI less so, but clever enough to make you pay attention. It is true to the original game and I am glad that I got it. Is it too late to ask for an update that includes the expansion, with it's swans and moats and secret doors? 😉 (Edit May 2021:) Hooray, now several expansion rooms are available! Also, the new artwork is a great improvement. I'm seeing a few rooms are still missing though. For example, the ballroom, hedge maze, and propylaeum.

Extremely fun game! My only complaint is that it's missing a few key components from the official board game, such as swan tokens, secret passages, purple (bonus) cards and actual castles. Despite all that, if this game had an online multiplayer option, rather than having to pass around a device, I would give it 5 out of 5 stars!

The game needs videos to show the player what to do in game. It also needs a in game rule book because I finished the tutorial and I am still unclear on the rules of this game. Why would I need stairs and why would I want to set game pieces? Some of the game mechanic are very complex.

if the game had a way to send bug reports, it would improve the application immensely, like to 5 stars. I learned the hard way that if you hit restart level in the pause menu, it doesn't refresh the utilities deck, and I have encountered other bugs including one involving an empty index. It's a fun game, just... the bugs make it frustrating.

I love this game, but due to a recent update, the "game booster" app (which came with my Samsung and cannot be deleted) menu bar seems to be permanently locked on the right side of my phone screen whenever I play, which is affecting my ability to navigate some of the game functionality (ex. opening and closing the scroll). Does anyone know how to fix this? I have loads of phone games and only Casles appears to be affected. :(
