Update: 3.75 yrs, some improvements. Airplane mode loads fast, size reduction to 185MB from 325MB. But, Indoor airport maps still need help: MUST have Internet & location services, or no map. Still can't review a map mid-flight or in Int'l airports w/ complex WiFi setup. Poor UX. Inefficient Landing/login page plus a login button on every page--takes up space. Better ways to implement. Fix the maps, redesign login. App is fine for lounge research, but not much else unless online.
