really handy setting up and checking WiFi network connectivity. It allows users to quickly troubleshoot issues, monitor signal strength, and ensure that devices are properly connected.
This is a better version than Ookla Speed Tester, and even if it ask you for location, isn't it like a given, since it needs data about your surroundings!? Hardly can believe how people are so paranoid about the location issue!
Great set of tools, BUT why "Encrypted WiFi" can't decide if its encrypted or not!?
"to test the Internet speed, please connect to a Wi-Fi" 🤦♂️ how do you think I'm recording this review 🙄 Yet simultaneously, fast app is getting to be as bad as TP-Link Tether app which used to be good a few years ago and is now worthless. Let's hope some competent developers can save Wi-Fi Toolkit from the same downfall. Tells me I'm off-line when I'm not. Tells me the network is secure but tells me the WiFi is unencrypted; which it's not. Getting to be another waste of storage from TP-Link.
the Data Safety section of this app page states that there is no data collected or sent to third parties, but as soon as you open the app, you must accept the terms of a privacy policy which states that the company does in fact collect data. Even if this is anonymized data, the fact is that the company is lying. This should be a red flag to anyone who is considering using this app.
