Json Genie was created by the need of a developer.

Really, really fast
It is ridiculously fast, which was really important while creating the app. Our tests reveal that it opens a 2 MB json file in under a second. We even did tests with files over 50 MB and Json Genie handled them without a sweat.

View, edit, add, clone & remove objects/arrays/values
Json Genie allows full reign over your json files. You can clone arrays/objects/values, you can add new arrays/objects/values, edit existing ones and even remove arrays/objects/values

Create/open from sd, url, text, dropbox, ...
Because Json Genie uses the default Android way of opening files, it can open a json file from all sources available on your Android phone (Dropbox, Drive, SD, ...). You can even copy/paste your custom json text or open a URL.

Really useful for updating my json file. Only one dark theme unfortunately, but I needed it so I went with premium. Sometimes I forget to save my file, a reminder or an autosave would be nice. The search function is nice, but does not let you view/edit the whole result (json object), but only the specific field you searched for. There are small details here and there to improve, but overall does its job.

Didn't let me save any of the files I needed to on my phone. Suggested I pick choose location after saving as a getaround. And all that did was open up ways to send people a link to the app on the google playstore. But hey. It looks nice.

Not a bad app, way to basic, nothing special and seems to be confused about what type of app it wants to be. I don't understand what Disney has to do with json files or why there is even a game collection option in the settings menu. Shouldn't the settings menu be about the app being used? Can I play games with this app? Can I watch Disney movies with this app? Maybe I downloaded the wrong json file editor. Instead of useless menu settings how about working on the actual app itself. I also agree with the other review. It doesn't open some of the files it use to. It also isn't being registered as a json file editor. When I click on a json file your app doesn't even make the list of apps to use for editing. Sorry but I'm uninstalling this app
