Without the Premium, you can still learn a lot of things from this app... I only hope they reduce the demand of premium. It gets overwhelming at times. You know, Persons would be willing to pay for the premium if they have access to things like speaking sentences. It would give everyone an idea that there is something even better coming up if they get to pay for the premium, instead of having most activities locked

I've changed my mind. It's definitely better than Duolingo, but I feel like Italian is too dynamic a language for the current voice models. I switched to one a different app, which uses real actors and has me answer questions and stuff. Wlingua Italian is probably best used as a review tool than a learning app. I still appreciate the ad frequency, the clean app, the responsiveness to feedback, and I feel like it has potential, but it needs some work. I'll bet it's great at Spanish though

Not bad, very straight and to the point, with short study sessions so as not to eat away at your spare time; but after a while the lessons start getting cut short by paywalls, at first you lose only some "examples" on grammar use, then you lose some activities... and lastly the "conversations" (audio included) get blocked behind a "premium members only". I'm downloading a new app and maybe using this one as backup practice when I get used to the other apps questions.

Review is for the cost and free version- it's a pretty good app, though limited on listening exercises, and with too much focus on spelling a constant stream of new vocabulary words. But the price is $12.99 per month, which is awfully high considering that it covers only one language. If you want to study two, like French and Italian, guess what? You have to pay separately for both. If you don't pay, the free version becomes essentially unusable after about 9 lessons.

I really want to like this app. I appreciate that it is not stealing and sharing all my information like most apps these days. The lessons are fine and everything was going well at first. Then, after your first few lessons it starts blocking out content behind the premium version. Now, probably half of the questions and lessons are hidden behind the pay wall. So I can no longer learn the same things as people paying which is unacceptable. I'd rather see ads and have access to all the content.
