Download free audio books from the LibriVox collection (need an audio player)

LibriVox Downloader conveniently downloads free audio books from the LibriVox collection, which can then be played in a suitable audio player. Smart AudioBook is recommended.

This app was a Christmas gift for my wife. If you get something useful out of it, so be it.

The books are by default downloaded to the LibriVox folder on your SD card / external storage. You should set MortPlayer Audio Book to use that folder as its main folder, or use the Options in LibriVox Downloader to select a different folder for it to download to.

NOTE 1: I recommend downloading audio books only via WiFi. These are very large downloads, about 350 mb or so each.

NOTE 2: I've had one user report that ogg downloads work better than mp3 ones. I am investigating.

Please note, it does not play back your downloads (in case you're looking for an all in one solution). Thank you SO much for this app!

I like audio books and this downloader makes my life easier. I can easily see what is available and then download straight to my external SDHC card rather than the internal 1GB card that came in the phone. The app saves all that downloading to PC and then transferring bother.

Everytime I try to download anything I get "error try again later". Anyone getting this?

I would have given this 2 and a half stars but it won't let me do half stars. Needs to have a built in media player, because after I download the books I can't listen to them. I have to go to the website and download the zip files. Also please add more psychology and advice books. Maybe some about the brain and addiction.
