Developer Description

Send reduced resolution photos by email/text/etc with minimum number of taps.

Send Reduced lets you share reduced resolution photos by text or email with the minimum number of taps.

This is the Pro version. Try the Free version first to ensure compatibility.

When sharing a photo, just choose "Send Reduced". The first time, you'll have to choose the email (or other) app you want to use with it, but if you set the checkmark to make this permanent, next time you won't even have to do that--as soon as you choose "Send Reduced", you'll be in the email (or other) app.

You can also use Send Reduced to attach a reduced photo--when choosing the attachment from your email app, first time choose the Gallery and set a checkmark, and next time you'll automatically get the photo from the gallery and reduce it.

You can adjust the resolution and quality of the reduced photo by running Send Reduced from your launcher.

Send Reduced Pro is tiny, open source (search the web for source code) and has no ads. It strips identifying information (EXIF and filename) from the photos. This is the Pro version which lets you include some EXIF data and preserve filenames.

Stopped working with Android 11. But found that if I turned on Use Content Provider - the android 6 gmail slider (app settings) that it works again.

Installed this a week ago on my Pixel 5 running Android 11 and it worked fine with Gmail when 'content provider' box ticked in app. Provided an easy way to resize photos when sending emails. App was updated to 0.20 with option removed. It then stopped working (tried resets and clearing cache etc.). However, now updated again a couple of days later and appears to work again. So all good for the moment....

Handily resizes photos when it works, but: (1) insists on working with one and only one default sharing app, e.g. email or text; (2) has no means of simply resizing and storing resized image in gallery for later use; (3) icon doesn't always appear in services menu, e.g. for use in uploading photos to Facebook (at least via some browsers).

Doesn't work on Android Samsung S10 Note Plus. I recently upgraded from an S7 to a S10 Note+ and now this app doesn't work. Totally bummed. Iverson used it for years.
