It works, after a few steps. The instructions could be better. I'm using Libre Office 7.0.0.3 x64 on my Windows 8.1 PC. The wifi connection does work and it auto detects my computer name. There are two separate settings you have to change in the Libre Office menus. It didn't work until I restarted Libre Office and then Windows asked me if I wanted to allow the program thru the firewall. After confirming that I was asked to input a 4 digit pin code into Libre Office. I have both control and image
The app won't connect to Impress on a ThinkPadT480 running Manjaro 5.22.3 via Bluetooth on Pocophone F1, (Android 10, Miui stable 12), even though the phone is paired and can send/receive files.....but it does work via WiFi. Not good for security and presentation setup when visiting other company offices, but otherwise a great app.
The newest version 2.3.0 - April 7, 2018. Is not working correctly on any of my devices. I get a white screen where the images of slides and the speakers notes should be. I uninstalled this version.. 2.2.3 works fine for me.
The app focuses too much on presentation notes. I am missing the preview of the next slide that you get in the presenter console and the thumbnails in the slideshow overwiew are far too small - even on a tablet. It would be good if the app would try to emulate the presenter console instead of this design.
Perhaps it worked in the past, I don't know, but now it acts as though it can't connect to the document, even after I've got bluetooth connected and the remote enabled running Mint 19.1 Disappointing, as this is something that I really need for my work as a lecturer!
