Pluma is a free RSS & News reader for Android with some feature available as paid upgrade. It supports local feeds as well as Inoreader. Goal of this app is to provide the best reading experience on Android.

Pluma RSS reader also allows you to subscribe to a Google News keyword which essentially enables you to get notified almost instantly whenever a news article about a keyword in which you are inserted is published anywhere on the internet.

Pluma RSS & News reader allows you to add news articles to a read later list for easier access when you are free to catch up with the latest news.

You can also configure any individual subscription so that all new news articles are automatically added to the read later list.

I've been trying a few RSS apps lately as a replacement for algorithmic news apps. This one is by far the best. I don't think I've been this crazy about a UI in years - it looks fantastic and is super customizable. Pricing is also extremely reasonable, with options for OTPs, which you never see anymore. There was clearly a lot of effort put into this app, and I applaud the small team that made it. Bought the pro version and will save up for Pro+!

Great app. But the only thing that bugs is the swipe to change folders in stories tab of the app. Every basic Android app supports swipe to change it and no support for that really bugs User Experience. Please add under settings if gestures or swipe to navigate between folders is to be selected.

Inoreader sync says "sync init failed" and purchase billing also failed so now i can't restore my previous purchase in new version.

OPML sync is SLOW. Doesn't tell you what feeds it can't read. RENAMES feeds rather than using their title from the OPML file (unforgivable - I didn't name 146 feeds in an OPML to have them randomly renamed). No way to set each feed to either show the raw feed, parse it, or open in browser. Navigation is very clunky with a bottom bar, not-compact lists, and various tabs. Positively, it uses custom tabs very well and the parser is good. So many better, cheaper/free options though. $51?! Yikes.

I paid once for ad-free, then they took features away, like Amoled, and put them behind the "Pro" paywall for yet another, supposedly one-time fee. But they apparently limit your number of feeds there because, to get "unlimited," you now have to rent "Pro+" for $30/yr., at $2.50/mo., or $20/yr., at $5/qtr., or $40 "Lifetime," unless they change it again. Worse, my supposedly "ad-free" version now has a persistent nag/reminder (aka, "ad") that I've been duped unless I pay again. Untrustworthy.
