TravelSpend is fantastic. I used it for 3 months around Portugal, Spain, and Southern France, another time for 8.5 months all around Europe. And for 2 months so far traveling around Asia. It's feature set is fantastic for categorizing expenditures, using any local currency for any country for cash, and using it for credit cards. A friend is joining me for a month of travel and it keeps expenses tracked for each of us and divides them how we want and will show how much we owe each other.

Great app, but frustrating that it's so freezey (of course it's a real word...). The app is great at what it sounds to do, and it's super useful for travel on a budget, but you need to work very slowly with it as it freezes up, requiring the classic 'just close it and reopen it' solution to get it going again. To make it work properly, wait until it's fully loaded and ready to go before you attempt any data entry. Try doing that with every purchase, every time.

Initially left a 5-star review in 2022 but since then it's become heavily monitised, so you can barely do the minimum. I'm going to look for a free app instead as I'm not looking for anything complex. A subscription model is insane and it's way overpriced.

You've just made this app very cumbersome. it was fine how it was. no need to make us click in and out of menus to see all the info we used to have nicely in one screen. seems like you've changed for the sake of change and it's much much worse. EDIT to the response. as a user I can tell you that everything you tried to do in that list ended up having the exact opposite effect. the app is much worse now.
