CGM Remote Monitoring

The new Dexcom Follow App is part of the Dexcom SHARE® system.
Use this app if your loved one is sharing data from their Dexcom CGM app. The Sharer will need to send an invitation to allow you to connect after you have installed the Follow app.
Dexcom Follow works seamlessly with your loved one’s Dexcom CGM, giving you visibility into their glucose data, even when they’re far away. Dexcom Follow allows you to view and follow their glucose levels, trends and data right from the app. Whether your child is in school, your parent lives independently, or your partner is traveling, Dexcom Follow helps you stay connected and informed.
With Dexcom Follow, you can:
• Receive glucose information of up to 25 different Sharers – children, friends, or other loved ones – if you know multiple people with diabetes
• Respond quickly with the help of customizable glucose alerts and push notifications that can inform you when a Sharer’s glucose levels are outside of target range

Service went out in the middle of the night last night -- which would have been understandable ... except: (1) I had last looked at the app at 11:00 PM, and the graph wouldn't update with readings between 11:00 PM and 3:30 AM, when the outage began, so I had no way of knowing if things were steady or if there was an issue on the rise. (2) Since I knew there was a general Dexcom issue, I wanted to silence the alarms -- but the app couldn't do so without connecting to its server. Fail!

after the update, I do not see updates every 5 minutes. I've gone so far as restarting my phone, hard restarting the app, and checking for updates to make the issue isn't my app/phone. the prior didn't do this, it frequently does not update after an urgent low from either of my kids. I do not have time for a buggy app when my kids' glucose levels are low or urgent low. please review and see if something can be done.

This app is terrible. It never works, always says "No Data", and doesn't appear to be running in the background. My son doesn't live with me and gets 'lows' often. How can I be sure he wakes up to get some carbs before he's in serious danger? This needs to be fixed immediately. Please!! It's an uncomfortable feeling when you don't know your loved one's BG. It worked great on the previous version; however, as updates come on phones, the updates need to "Follow" here.
