as a first time scooter owner this app came in handy today more than ever. As I was locking up my scooter outside of a boulevard, I went in for about twenty minutes to get some snacks, and as I came out to unlock my scooter and head home I found that my lock had been cut, (it isn't a chain lock) and it was a miracle to see that my scooter was still there. this app saved me from scolding, a screaming wallet and my own dread (also a walk home) I'll definitely use the in-app lock mechanism more.👍

latest software update? to me it looks like control starts up and links up much faster.. improved torque/speed. seems like the first half of the battery pack provides more power on demand then Before. mileage seems improved slightly. more accurate reading. I think it was a good solid update. maybe slight delay on initial throttle. in my opinion prevents loss of control from a standstill.

Just OK for basic functions, poor for advanced features. Really Bad: does not log rides when run in the background on my S24. Bad: gives erroneous error message about unstable network when it really means clear the cache... wow. Annoying: gives a message about a missing beginner's tutorial on launch. Annoying: lacks detailed health details such as motor temp. Annoying: sharing ride details is really just sort of a screenshot, would be nice if the recipient could see what I see.

Nov 2019: Great app. Can see past routes, battery level, run diagnostics, update bike firmware, etc. Still possibly room for more though... 😉 Oct 2024: I'm now onto my second NIU moped and instead of more, they gave us less!!! We now have to pay for all the useful features in the app. Um... no way. I was sold the Niu brand due to all the FREE app features. The app is now as useless as a chocolate teapot. You've lost me NIU. I won't be buying a third moped from you.

app no longer opens on my phone worked a few days ago no what I try it will not open and says app keeps stopping when I try to open it. was fine when it worked. if it worked I would say it's not a bad app but now I can't change any settings
