I like this app. I'm interested in and shocked by my number of drinks free days. The app gives useful reminders and prompts without being annoying out intrusive.
This app is as good as you want it. It doesn't make you drink less, it advises you on how and why to cut back. So it is down to your will power. The calendar is a stark reminder of daily alcohol consumption. It might just be that kick up the backside you need. A minor criticism is selecting the non drink days. The app assumes that I will never drink on Monday, for example. Update 19 Aug 25: Much better, but the suggested pricing is very weird. Please tell where I can get a pint of cider for £2.
Not bad, but could be better. It shouldn't insist that you complete your current drinking routine as a hurdle before being able to use it. It's daft anyway: who drinks in a routine!? But mainly it's a high bar to entry, very off-putting. Also, it's very frustrating that it revolves around a working week. So a pledge for 7 days can't be fulfilled until you've been 13 days without drinking if you stop on a Tuesday. Just count the days from when you stop!! And why max 7 days pledge?
06/25 stop changing the app. like others say it's now got a poor visual interface. please make an option for original stars. * so they have managed to fix it and recover data. (Despite telling me it was not possible). Trying to decide if I still trust the app with any of my data. App updated and lost all progress. Useless
Edit. Why have you changed the stars on the calendar? Utter rubbish, now to complete each day I have to answer a prompted question which is far less convenient. I'm not the first to mention it, and the app was clunky enough as it was. Downgraded to 1 star.
