New dawn for the galaxy

The galaxy has been a peaceful place for many years. After the ruthless Terran–Hegemony War (30.027–33.364), much effort has been employed
by all major spacefaring species to prevent the terrifying events from repeating themselves. The Galactic Council was formed to enforce precious
peace, and it has taken many courageous efforts to prevent the escalation of malicious acts.

Nevertheless, tension and discord are growing among the seven major species and in the
Council itself. Old alliances are shattering, and hasty diplomatic treaties are made in secrecy. A confrontation of the superpowers seems inevitable—only the outcome of the galactic conflict remains to be seen. Which faction will emerge victorious and lead the galaxy under its rule? The shadows of the great civilizations are about to eclipse the galaxy. Lead your people to victory!

A game of Eclipse places you in control of a vast interstellar civilization, competing for success with its rivals. You will explore new star systems, research technologies, and build mighty spaceships. There are many potential paths to victory, so you need to plan your strategy considering the strengths and weaknesses of your species, while paying attention to the other civilizations' endeavors.

This is the classic version, which corresponds to the original board game "New dawn for the galaxy". We're working on an implementation of the new version "Second dawn for the galaxy."

Good - Please make small update - I completed a whole game on mobile (Galaxy S10) and it went fine...except for managing ship parts, that took a lot of attempts to drag the right part to my ships. Swap with a tap to pick, and tap to apply, perhaps with some zoomed modes after picking the ship class, and I'll up this to 5*; just fix this limitation.

Single Player Game doesn't work for me. It immediately freezes once it's the computer's turn. I wanted to practice some strategies but so far could only play against myself which is frustrating, considering I spent money on the app. I have a current phone with latest Android Version, if there is a solution to this please respond and I'd be happy to adjust my rating.

I own and love the board game. Unfortunately, the app is buggy and doesn't play by the rules. It's a long list, but here are two... (1) won't give me the proper discounts for technologies researched on the same track. (2) won't let me move the correct number of ships. Unplayable as it stands. It's an embarassment to the vendor and should be taken off the marketplace. Giving people the opportunity to waste their money on this is criminal. The LEAST you could do is offer a discount on 2nd Edition.
