This app supports Allstate and its affiliates operating under the following brands: National General Insurance, DirectAuto Insurance, and Farmers Union Insurance. It helps you monitor your behind-the-wheel behavior to become a safer driver.

Features:
• Immediate premium savings by joining the DynamicDrive program and activating the app. Start sharing driving insights. You could be eligible for more savings at renewal.
• The app runs in the background and calculates a driving score based on, but not limited to:
o Driving time of day
o Distracted driving due to phone use
o Hard and extreme braking
o Speeding
• Review detailed maps of previous trips to track how often you’re driving, how far you’re driving, and how safely you’re driving.

Setup Instructions:
1. Locate the email from your insurer with your seven-digit activation code.
2. Download and open the app. Enter your activation code to seamlessly connect it to your insurance policy.
3. Make sure to accept any required permissions and your insurer’s terms of service.
4. That’s it! Just drive safely to improve your driving score.

Seems to work well so far, is pretty good at detecting when I am the passenger. I have heard that some similar apps from other companies are unreliable but this one seems pretty good so far. I have had the app crash a few times but I haven't seen any other reviews that mention that so it may be something with my phone 🤷‍♂️

Needs improvement!! there needs to be a button for when you're parked. I'm being flagged for phone use when I'm parked. I get to a destination, park, then check my phone for time or an address and get flagged!! Or the fact it tracks me on walks!! I do not walk fast enough to be considered a car!! I am about to Uninstall, it takes up so much battery running all the time in the background and being flagged for phone use when I have stopped my car is annoying.

Makes driving more frustrating and stressful. I can appreciate that this is a tricky thing to do as an app and that it can't be flawless. I barely drive anywhere, and don't even have to drive to work, but constantly get dinged for the time of day when I do drive, which I absolutely can't avoid. It also occasionally dings me for phone use when I absolutely haven't been engaging with the phone while driving, hands-free or otherwise.

Useless is an understatement when describing this app. I have to keep calling the help desk and they don't even have a clue how the app work. They tell you to turn on location and other things in the settings yet the app would not work. You have to get new code if you uninstall, reinstall, change your phone, or the app stops logging your trip. Yet loss your discount for someone else incompetence. Absolute garbage. This app needs to be removed from app store.
