If this router's parental controls would let me have unlimited domain spots I'd give it 5 stars. I love the way it let's me set up filters to block all and then approve access as my child visits the sites that I want to allow, but alas it has a max amount of "allow" that you can use then is says "number of domains has reached it's limit". So many websites require multiple "other" sites just to run the main web page and it fills up the allowed domain section real fast.

not as good as webgui. the webgui is far more powerful and has many more options than the app. annoyingly you can't use the webgui from a mobile. The app is getting better each time, but still has a number of limitations. Please work on the app to bring more of the main features in as the filtering and functionality of Synology routers are excellent!

Unlike with the web interface, the app is sorely lacking in features and capabilities. For example, try configuring DHCP settings or try changing the DNS settings. These settings are nowhere to be found in the App that I could locate. The app is good for looking to see what devices are connected to the router and for an overview of internet connectivity. A good app should allow one to edit virtually any of the router's settings that you can do via the web portal. This app is extremely lacking.

Years later, it's still painstakingly slow! Why does this app take so long to login/connect to my router. It's not my home broadband connection speed.
